I recently went to WELLMEDICA Aesthetics in Reston, Virginia to receive a facial Venus Viva treatment. I have struggled with acne in the past as well as during my pregnancies due to my hormones. Because of this, my skin has ice pick scarring as well as large pores. I have done microneedling in the past, but still needed something more to help soften the texture of my skin. I had an incredible experience during my facial and Venus Viva procedure; I didn’t feel a thing. WELLMEDICA uses a strong topical numbing cream to avoid feeling pain during the Viva procedure. HOW DOES THE VENUS VIVA WORK?
The Viva device uses patented nanofractional radiofrequency and SmartScan® technology to deliver energy to the dermis. This generates heat in a controlled manner to initiate skin change, rebuilding collagen and fibroblast stimulation, all resulting in tissue remodeling. This achieves results with minimal discomfort and very little to no downtime.

HOW LONG WILL THE RESULTS LAST?
No skin resurfacing treatment is ever permanent because skin is constantly changing; aging and is subjected to the environment. However, if you get a series of Venus Viva treatments, the results should be long-term.
