Angelcare baby monitors are simply amazing! I got the AC1300 which has video, tracks movement, and sound. I feel like a huge cloud of stress has been listed off of my shoulders. The coolest part is that it alerts you when your baby doesn’t move; it will alert you if it has not detected movement after 20 seconds. This specific monitor is geared more towards a newborn infant or a young baby who is starting to explore.
In order for the camera and sensor to work properly, you MUST follow the directions very carefully in the pamphlet. it says in there that you MUST place your camera AT LEAST 3 feet in distance from the crib. Technology is pretty amazing you guys. I can’t believe this even exists!
I love using the ‘zoom’ feature on the monitor to check in on Jacob. We only put him in the crib for naps right now, but I know that when we move, this is going to be my FAVORITE device in the house. I have to make sure my kids are breathing and stay safe when they are not in my presence. It is all about prevention at this point. I have to do my job as a mommy to look out for my children.
